06 june 2008 - 19 october 2008 : Exhibition "My Public Space" - Rotterdam
|

My Public
Space' is a travelling exhibition that makes it clear that public space in
Europe is much less public and accessible than we tend to think. How our
immediate surroundings are organised is increasingly subject to privatisation,
thematisation, control, commercialisation and the influence of the media. Eight
correspondents carried out research on urban developments in Dublin, Copenhagen,
Naples, Barcelona, Rotterdam, Tirana, Brussels and Berlin to find out how the
transformation of public space has taken place.
